L’atelier a été officiellement ouvert par Monsieur Ahmed Sacca Yarou, Directeur de cabinet de la Ministre du Numérique et de la Digitalisation.</p><p>Le Gouvernement de la République du Bénin a, dans une démarche de transparence et de collaboration, pour objectif d’adhérer au partenariat pour un gouvernement ouvert. Pour y parvenir, une étape structurante est la mise en place d’une politique Open Data dont les phases importantes sont :</p><ul><li>La réalisation d’une étude préliminaire pour évaluer l’état de préparation du Bénin à l’ouverture des données sur la base du modèle ODRA (Open Data Readiness Assessment) de la Banque Mondiale.</li><li>La réalisation du portail Open Data avec un transfert de connaissance pour assurer sa maintenance et son opérationnalisation</li><li>La réalisation de la conduite du changement via des évènements, des formations, une étude de la littératie et de la gouvernance des données.</li><li>L’Open Data est un élément clé du projet Smart Gouv et plus généralement du Programme d'Actions du Gouvernement (PAG) 2021-2026. La série de rencontres avec les différentes parties prenantes, aboutira à l’élaboration du rapport sur l’état de préparation Bénin aux données ouvertes.</li></ul>"
